Overview:
A leading Asia-focused investment management platform is seeking an Investment Analyst/ PM to join its public equities investment team covering healthcare opportunities. The role will focus on fundamental research across healthcare subsectors, generating actionable investment ideas and supporting portfolio construction within a long/short equity strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research on healthcare companies across Asia and global markets
- Develop differentiated investment theses and present recommendations to portfolio managers
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation frameworks
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and corporate events
- Engage with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side research providers
- Support portfolio construction, risk management, and investment monitoring activities
- Generate actionable long and short investment ideas within the healthcare sector
Requirements:
- 8+ years of investment experience within public equities
- Demonstrated healthcare sector coverage experience with strong fundamental research capabilities
- Familiarity with biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare services sectors
- Prior buyside experience within a long-only or long/short equity investment platform
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to independently generate investment ideas and influence investment decisions
