Overview
We are partnering with a fast-growing AI Driven Technology company looking to hire a Head of Engineering to lead and scale their engineering function. This role combines focuses in driving both technical direction and team performance.
You will play a key role in shaping the architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable, high-quality SaaS products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the engineering roadmap in line with product and business objectives
- Architect and scale SaaS platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Contribute directly to the codebase across backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React)
- Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs
- Support front-end development to ensure high-quality user experience
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and React
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven track record leading and scaling engineering teams
- Experience mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth SaaS or scale-up environments
- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
- Background in data-driven or high-availability systems
