FX Liquidity & Market Maker
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with global liquidity partners, including banks, non‑bank market makers, and institutional pricing providers
- Serve as a key contact for liquidity partner engagement, performance discussions, and ongoing commercial collaboration
- Monitor and assess liquidity quality using execution and performance metrics such as spreads, fill quality, response latency, and price behaviour
- Partner closely with liquidity providers to enhance depth, pricing consistency, and product coverage across FX spot and forward markets
- Support client onboarding and growth initiatives by aligning liquidity configurations with sales and client needs
- Contribute to discussions around venue positioning, pricing frameworks, and overall liquidity strategy within the eFX landscape
- Stay informed on developments in FX market structure, regulation, and competitive dynamics impacting electronic trading
- Assist with strategic initiatives including onboarding new liquidity partners and launching additional FX products
- Represent the platform at industry events, meetings, and forums, maintaining an active professional network across major FX centres
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience within electronic FX, liquidity management, FX sales, or market‑making environments
- Demonstrated experience engaging with liquidity providers in an institutional or electronic trading context
- Strong understanding of FX market structure and liquidity models, including disclosed and non‑disclosed pricing
- Solid product knowledge across FX spot, forwards, swaps, and non‑deliverable forwards
- Commercially minded, with the ability to balance execution quality, partner performance, and venue economics
- Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret execution data and performance metrics
- Familiarity with concepts such as prime brokerage, last‑look dynamics, skew management, and liquidity segmentation
- Degree qualification in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Nice to have:
- Prior exposure to an ECN, MTF, or electronic trading venue
- Involvement in liquidity strategy, pricing optimisation, or platform growth initiatives
- Working knowledge of data or analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL)
