Selby Jennings has partnered with a top tier global multi-strategy investment manager in seeking talented professionals to join its fundamental investment team in Hong Kong or Singapore. This role offers a chance to work closely with senior PMs, and our client is open to various sector coverage experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate long and short equity investment recommendations supported by detailed financial modeling and proprietary research.
- Conduct in-depth company and industry analysis, attend management meetings, and monitor portfolio holdings.
- Leverage emerging technologies to enhance research and decision-making.
- Participate in earnings calls, industry conferences, and maintain relationships with market participants.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Equity Research, Private Equity, or Public Equity investment roles.
- Strong academic credentials from top tier universities.
- Demonstrated analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and commercial acumen.
- Interest in portfolio construction, risk management, and use of large data sets in investment processes.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies; creative mindset is a plus.
