Selby Jennings has partnered with a Hong Kong-based macro-thematic investment management firm is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join its lean and dynamic team. The firm manages a concentrated portfolio across global markets and emphasizes a high-conviction, research-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day fund operations, including trade settlement, NAV reconciliation, and service provider coordination.
- Manage the fund's financials, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
- Handle regulatory submissions and documentation for the SFC and other relevant authorities.
- Liaise with external fund administrators, custodians, and auditors to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Support internal controls and contribute to process improvements across finance and operations.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fund operations, preferably within a buyside firm.
- Ideally bring exposure to fund financials, including accounting, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting.
- CPA qualification or formal finance/accounting background strongly preferred.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a lean team setup.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of operational responsibilities.
