Position Overview
They are seeking an experienced Financial Operations & HR Manager to join the fast-growing team. This critical role will oversee financial operations while managing human resources functions, ensuring both fiscal discipline and a thriving team culture in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management (60%)
- Develop and manage budgets across departments
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting to guide business decisions
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
- Implement financial controls and compliance procedures
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and banking relationships
- Prepare financial statements and investor reports
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors
- Support fundraising activities with financial documentation and analysis
Human Resources Management (40%)
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention
- Manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Handle personnel issues, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records and regulatory compliance
- Foster a positive company culture aligned with organizational values
- Coordinate payroll processing and administration
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a startup environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets
- Experience with financial software systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
- Experience in the food service or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of international finance and multi-entity consolidation
- Familiarity with startup operations and venture capital financing
- HR experience and certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent)
