ETF Quantitative Developer
We are seeking an ETF Quantitative Developer to support a growing index and portfolio management platform through the design, development, and enhancement of portfolio management technology, analytics, and data solutions. This individual will work closely with investment professionals, operations teams, and technology stakeholders to develop scalable tools that improve portfolio oversight, automate workflows, and enhance the team's overall technology infrastructure.
This role operates within a fast-paced investment environment and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of systems and analytics that support portfolio management activities across a large and growing business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with investment, research, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven insights, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and tools that support portfolio management and investment workflows.
- Improve and scale portfolio monitoring, oversight, and operational processes.
- Build and deploy quantitative models, analytics, and reporting capabilities across internal and third-party systems.
- Automate recurring workflows and enhance process efficiency through technology-driven solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the team's data architecture, infrastructure, and development standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Around 2-3 years of experience in software development, quantitative development, analytics, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming experience with Python; exposure to R, Java, or C++ is a plus.
- Experience working with data analysis libraries and large datasets.
- Understanding of database technologies, SQL, and modern data environments.
- Familiarity with ETL development, workflow orchestration, and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, Git, and collaborative software development practices is beneficial.
- Experience working with financial data, investment systems, or portfolio analytics is advantageous but not required.
