Director, APAC Syndicated Finance
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead syndication and distribution efforts for structured lending products, with an emphasis on leveraged loans, project finance, and non-recourse real estate loans.
- Partner closely with structured product teams to identify business opportunities, develop syndication strategies, and execute transactions.
- Formulate sound underwriting decisions supported by robust syndication and de-risking strategies.
- Analyse market trends and liquidity risks to inform transaction structuring and investor targeting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors to enhance distribution capabilities and expand the investor base.
- Engage regularly with market participants to gather intelligence and share insights with internal teams.
- Oversee the marketing and pricing of both public and private debt offerings to a diverse investor audience.
- Manage the sell-down process of structured lending products across primary and secondary markets.
- Deliver high-quality presentations and communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels.
- Operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Uphold a strong compliance mindset and demonstrate a dedicated work ethic.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience and track record in the Asian syndicated loan market, with a focus on Leveraged Finance and/or Project Finance.
- Strong credit analysis skills and a comprehensive understanding of structured lending products.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated track record of successful syndication and investor engagement.
