A leading global financial institution is expanding its digital retail banking operations in Berlin and is looking for passionate Customer Service Advisor to join their Banking Operations team.
Your Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a key role in managing customer inquiries and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You'll work closely with internal teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to the development of a high-quality service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer data and account management, including payment transactions and other back-office processes.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries independently and in collaboration with internal departments.
- Create a unique customer experience that is fair, consistent and transparent and ensure exceptional customer service at all times, both by phone and in writing
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal guidelines.
Your Profile
- Experience in back-office operations within the financial sector, ideally in the German-speaking market.
- Business fluent in German and English
- Completed banking apprenticeship or a comparable education with relevant professional experience
- Problem-solving ability, strong communication, and confidence in handling conflict situations.
- Empathetic and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process complaints from customers and regulatory authorities in Germany
- Independently develop solutions to complex customer inquiries, collaborating with internal departments as needed
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience through both direct communication and written correspondence
- Act as a subject matter expert in complaint handling and resolution
