Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Crypto Quantitative Trader to join their onsite team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing, deploying, and managing mid-to-high frequency trading strategies in the crypto markets. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of digital asset trading, leveraging advanced quantitative techniques and technology to generate alpha in highly competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement mid-to-high frequency trading strategies for crypto markets
- Analyze large, real-time datasets to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities
- Optimize and monitor strategy performance, including latency and execution efficiency
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to enhance trading infrastructure and tools
- Manage risk and ensure robust controls across trading activities
- Stay current with market structure, liquidity, and emerging trading venues
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in crypto trading: Hands-on experience running mid-to-high frequency strategies in digital asset markets is strongly preferred
- Quantitative and analytical skills: Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Programming expertise: Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages for research, implementation, and automation
- Deep understanding of market microstructure: Familiarity with order book dynamics, execution algorithms, and latency optimization
- Strong risk management mindset: Ability to monitor and control risk in fast-moving environments
- Self-starter: Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a high-performance team
Candidates with experience running systematic strategies in other asset classes (equities, FX, futures, etc.) and a strong interest in crypto are also encouraged to apply.
