About the Role
We are partnering with a technology-driven trading firm that develops proprietary systems operating across global financial markets. The engineering team is responsible for building and optimizing the low-latency infrastructure, trading platforms, and data systems that support critical business functions.
As a Software Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers and quantitative professionals to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software where reliability, efficiency, and scalability are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance software in modern C++.
- Build and optimize low-latency services and distributed systems.
- Improve the performance, stability, and scalability of existing applications.
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing software in C++.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Experience working on Linux-based environments.
- Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
