  • Drive asset and portfolio performance through budgeting, business planning, capital planning, NOI analysis, and operational oversight.
  • Partner closely with ownership and leadership on reporting, portfolio valuations, distributions, governance, and strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee third-party property management, leasing activities, consultants, vendors, and contractors across multiple asset types.
  • Lead ownership reporting, budgeting, cash management, and coordination with accounting, tax, legal, and insurance partners.
  • Establish best-in-class processes, records management, compliance programs, and operational controls.
  • Provide an operator's perspective on development projects and help transition projects from development into operations.
  • Spearhead technology, document management, cybersecurity, and operational infrastructure initiatives.

Ideal Background years of commercial real estate experience across asset management, property management, or operations.

  • 5 - 10 YOE overseeing diverse property types and interacting directly with ownership or investors.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and portfolio reporting.
  • Ability to read and interpret leases, operating agreements, loan documents, and legal property records.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism working with confidential family office information.

Preferred Experience

  • Family office, ownership, fund, or investor reporting experience
  • Affordable housing compliance
  • Dallas permitting and entitlement knowledge
  • CPM, CCIM, RPA, FMA, or similar designation

Why This Opportunity?

  • Direct exposure to ownership and executive leadership
  • Broad responsibility across operations, asset management, development, and governance
  • Diverse portfolio across multiple asset classes
  • Opportunity to help build a growing real estate platform and future team
  • Premier office environment at Old Parkland in Dallas

This is an outstanding opportunity for a real estate operator who thinks like an owner and wants to serve as the right hand to leadership within a highly entrepreneurial, well-capitalized family office platform.
