Consumer & Internet Equity Analyst | Hedge Fund
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research across consumer and internet companies globally, with a focus on Asia and international markets.
- Develop investment theses and generate actionable long and short ideas.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, industry databases, and valuation frameworks.
- Analyze company financials, competitive positioning, industry trends, and management quality.
- Monitor portfolio holdings and provide ongoing updates on key developments and catalysts.
- Present investment recommendations directly to senior investment leadership.
- Support portfolio construction through rigorous risk-reward analysis.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of relevant equity research or investment experience.
- Strong coverage experience within consumer and/or internet sectors.
- Buy-side or top-tier sell-side equity research background preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel required.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Mandarin is advantageous.
- Degree from a leading university in the United States or China with an outstanding academic record.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and a passion for investing.
