CLO Analyst
A leading alternative investment manager is seeking to hire an Analyst to join its Structured Credit and CLO investment team. The Analyst will work in a collaborative, investment‑focused environment supporting the management of CLO vehicles and loan portfolios. The role offers hands‑on exposure to credit research, portfolio construction, and ongoing investment monitoring across a diversified leveraged loan platform.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the investment process across CLO and leveraged loan portfolios, including research, sourcing, analysis, presentation, execution, and ongoing monitoring
- Conduct deep fundamental credit analysis across issuers, industries, and multiple levels of the capital structure
- Build and maintain financial and credit models to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio holdings
- Assist with the preparation of investment memoranda, analyses, and recommendations for senior investment professionals
- Monitor existing investments and provide regular updates on performance, credit developments, and risk considerations
- Interact with buy‑side and sell‑side market participants, including banks, brokers, and other industry counterparties
- Track market activity and credit trends within the leveraged loan and broader credit markets
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to portfolio managers and the broader investment team
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in leveraged finance, structured credit, or related credit roles at an investment bank, asset manager, credit fund, or similar institution
- Prior exposure to credit investing or portfolio analysis is preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, concise written materials
- Solid foundation in accounting and corporate finance
- Understanding of capital structures and familiarity with credit and leveraged loan markets
- Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team‑oriented environment
