A fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and investors. This is a fully remote role with significant influence over financial strategy, operating performance, and long‑term value creation.
The CFO will oversee all finance and accounting functions while helping scale the organization through its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound judgment, and experience operating in dynamic, change‑driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all finance, accounting, reporting, and compliance functions
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
- Own financial reporting, KPI development, and performance management
- Support investor reporting, board materials, and lender relationships
- Drive improvements in systems, processes, and internal controls
- Provide financial leadership across growth initiatives, M&A, and integration efforts
Ideal Background
- Prior CFO experience or senior finance leadership experience in a PE‑backed, high‑growth, or lower‑middle‑market environment
- Strong grasp of financial strategy, cash management, and operational finance
- Experience working closely with boards, investors, and executive teams
- CPA, MBA, or prior public accounting background preferred but not required
