Client/Job Summary:
Our client is a prestigious law firm that is seeking a Billing Manager to join their accounting team. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the billing process. This person will lead and mentor a team of billing professionals to ensure accurate and timely invoices, as well as compliance to client billing guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with billing partners to ensure billing collections.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and coordinate daily activities of the billing team.
- Ensure accurate processing of invoices, e-billing submissions, billing inquiries, disputes, etc.
- Review pre-bills and compliance with agreements.
- Generate billing reports and track KPIs.
- Identify areas for improvement in billing process.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in legal billing at a law firm preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
- Experience managing a team of billing professionals.
- Expertise in e-billing systems, electronic invoicing, and compliance with billing guidelines.
- Proven ability to streamline billing processes and excellent communication skills.
