Position: AVP of Finance
Location: Los Angeles
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
Schedule: Onsite
Role Description:
We're partnering with a well-established global investment management organization who is seeking an AVP of Finance to join their U.S. Finance team. This is a highly visible opportunity for an accounting and finance professional who enjoys operating in a hands-on capacity while partnering with senior leadership across an international business. The role supports U.S. operations and works closely with colleagues abroad, external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day accounting activities, including AP, AR, cash reconciliations and payment processing
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes
- Coordinate tax reporting and regulatory filings with external advisors
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Experience within asset management, investment management, financial services, or related industry
- Strong understanding of month-end close, audits, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Advanced excel and financial systems skills
