AVP E&S Excess Casualty
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Underwrite and price new and renewal Excess Casualty business
✅ Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers and producers
✅ Analyze complex risks and determine pricing, coverage structures, terms, and conditions
✅ Drive profitable new business production within an assigned territory
✅ Manage and grow an existing portfolio while maintaining underwriting profitability
✅ Collaborate with internal underwriting and leadership teams to deliver creative risk solutions
Desired Background:
🔹 7-10 years of Excess Casualty underwriting experience
🔹 Must have E&S (Excess & Surplus) underwriting experience
🔹 Strong Excess Casualty or Specialty Casualty background
🔹 Established relationships within the wholesale brokerage community
🔹 Proven track record of growing and managing a profitable book of business
🔹 Strong production mindset and broker development experience
🔹 Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
🔹 Experience working closely with wholesale brokers and producers
