Associate/Senior Associate - Investor Relations

We are working with a London-based private credit manager with just over €20bn in assets under management that is looking to hire an Associate / Senior Associate into its Investor Relations team. This is not a fundraising role. Instead, it is a highly execution-focused position centred on project management, investor servicing, and the delivery of high-quality materials and communications for a global institutional client base.

The successful candidate will sit at the heart of the investor relations function, partnering with investment, finance, legal, compliance, operations, and senior commercial stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of investor reporting, due diligence processes, client communications, and broader strategic projects. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organised, commercial, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Crucially, candidates must have private credit knowledge and must currently be working at another private credit manager. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing management of relationships with institutional investors globally by delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to requests and queries
  • Coordinate and manage a broad range of investor relations projects across reporting cycles, client communications, and fund-related initiatives
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of investor materials, including quarterly reports, portfolio updates, presentations, ad hoc requests, and other client-facing content
  • Manage and complete due diligence questionnaires, data requests, RFPs, and other information requests from existing and prospective institutional investors
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across investment, product, finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams to gather and validate information for investor deliverables
  • Help oversee the production, maintenance, and quality control of client communication materials, reporting templates, and content housed in data rooms or investor portals
  • Support project execution around fund launches, new product initiatives, and strategic investor communications
  • Coordinate internal workflows to ensure deadlines are met across multiple concurrent projects and reporting requirements
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes, controls, and best practices across the investor relations and client servicing function
  • Assist in investor meeting preparation, including briefing materials, presentation content, follow-up items, and ongoing servicing requirements

Candidate Profile

  • 2-6 years' experience, ideally suited to an Associate or Senior Associate level professional
  • Mandatory private credit experience gained at another private credit manager
  • Strong understanding of private credit products, strategies, structures, and the institutional investor landscape
  • Prior experience in investor relations, product management, client service, reporting, or a related investor-facing project management function
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to sophisticated institutional clients
  • Confident working cross-functionally and building relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience preparing polished client materials
  • A team-oriented approach and a willingness to take ownership of deliverables from start to finish

Preferred Background

The ideal candidate will come from a private credit firm and currently be working in an investor relations, product specialist, client service, sales support, or project management-oriented role. This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys managing complex processes, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outcomes for institutional investors, but who does not want a role focused on origination or fundraising.
