Associate FX Sales - Frankfurt
Overview
Our client, an established European investment bank is seeking an Associate-level FX Sales professional to join its Frankfurt-based team. The role focuses on delivering foreign exchange solutions to a broad client base across Germany and the Nordics, including corporate and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with German and Nordic corporate and institutional clients, providing tailored FX solutions
- Execute and price FX transactions (spot, forwards, swaps, and vanilla options) in line with market conditions and client needs
- Collaborate closely with trading, structuring, and coverage teams to deliver best-in-class client service
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across broader markets products (rates, hedging solutions, etc.)
- Maintain regular client engagement through meetings, calls, and market updates
- Monitor market developments and communicate relevant insights to clients
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies and regulatory requirements
Key Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in FX sales, markets, or a related role within a bank or financial institution
- Solid understanding of FX products and market dynamics
- Exposure to corporate and institutional client coverage preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
- Fluency in English required; German and/or a Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish) strongly preferred
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
