An international investment bank is seeking a high-performing Associate to join its Chemicals Investment Banking team, based in either London or Frankfurt. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a virtual-first team that values independence, trust, and consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions in the chemicals sector.
- Conduct financial modelling , valuation analysis, and industry research.
- Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-border teams in a dynamic, deal-driven environment.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to chemicals or adjacent industrial sectors.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results without daily supervision.
- Comfortable operating in a virtual team structure - flexibility to work remotely, including from abroad or while traveling.
- High level of reliability and accountability - flexibility is earned through trust and performance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
