About the Opportunity
A leading global investment bank is launching a major integration transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Apache Camel Developer to play a key role in the migration of its enterprise integration platform.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the very start of a strategic programme, allowing you to influence architecture decisions, migration strategy, solution design, and technical implementation from day one.
The programme forms part of a wider technology modernisation initiative and is expected to run for several years, offering excellent long-term project stability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing integration solutions using Apache Camel.
- Supporting the migration of legacy TIBCO integrations.
- Building and enhancing enterprise APIs and integration services.
- Working closely with architects and development teams on future-state integration architecture.
- Contributing to solution design and technical decision-making.
- Supporting testing, deployment and production releases.
- Collaborating with Front Office technology teams and business stakeholders.
- Improving scalability, resilience and maintainability of integration services.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel.
- Solid Java development background.
- Experience working on enterprise integration or middleware projects.
- Experience with API development and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks or TIBCO migration projects.
- Kafka experience.
- Financial Services or Investment Banking experience.
- Experience delivering integration modernisation programmes.
- Knowledge of Finastra/Kondor.
- Agile delivery experience.
