Job Summary
We are seeking a Vice President to join a structured finance team focused on commercial and esoteric asset‑backed securitizations. This role will lead the structuring and execution of complex ABS transactions across a range of niche asset classes, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to deliver tailored financing solutions. The position offers end‑to‑end deal ownership, exposure to emerging and infrastructure‑related collateral, and the opportunity to help scale newer subsectors within a dynamic and client‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structuring and execution of ABS transactions, including warehouse facilities and term securitizations, across niche commercial and esoteric asset classes.
  • Structure transactions backed by assets such as commercial vehicle fleet leases, digital infrastructure, cell towers, data centers, fiber networks, railcar finance, rental car fleets, timeshare loans, triple net lease portfolios, utility fee receivables, and whole business securitizations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed cash flow, collateral, and credit models using Excel, Intex, and related analytical tools.
  • Conduct rigorous quantitative analysis, including bond math, scenario analysis, and stress testing, to assess deal economics, structural features, and credit risk.
  • Coordinate execution with internal teams including credit risk, capital markets, syndicate, sales, trading, legal, and operations.
  • Interface with external parties such as rating agencies, legal counsel, accountants, and investors throughout the lifecycle of each transaction.
  • Support capital markets execution through preparation of rating agency materials, offering documentation, and investor marketing presentations.
  • Review and provide feedback on transaction documentation to ensure alignment with deal structures, credit assumptions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify new asset classes, subsectors, and structuring opportunities in collaboration with coverage teams and origination partners.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in ABS structuring, securitized products, or structured finance, with exposure to commercial or non‑traditional collateral.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Intex; VBA experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of ABS deal structures, securitization mechanics, and market conventions.
  • Proven experience working with rating agencies, external counsel, and institutional investors on transaction execution.
  • Strong judgment and attention to detail in evaluating deal structures and credit risk.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience across infrastructure‑related, asset‑intensive, or whole‑business ABS structures.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple live transactions concurrently.
  • Creative, solutions‑oriented approach to structuring and problem‑solving in less standardized asset classes.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred.
