Job Title: VP, Service Accounting

Salary: $150,000-$190,000
Company Summary An investment management firm specializing in Real Estate is looking to make a key hire to their accounting team. The VP will play a critical role by supporting the residential credit and servicing related operations by reconciling accounts, reviewing financial activity and monitoring third-party servicing partners. This role will require a VP that can own cash and reconciliation processes, repurchase activity and investor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead servicing accounting activities, ensuring timely delivery, strong controls and accurate reporting
- Review and reconcile cash activity and servicing data across internal and external systems, resolving discrepancies
- Partner with technology teams to enhance systems and improve data quality
- Oversee invoicing, settlements, and servicing related reconciliations
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Servicing Accounting, Finance or related leadership roles
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues
- Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with large, complex datasets; familiarity with data query tools is a plus
- Experience with cash flow analysis, variance investigation, and servicing or financial system is strongly preferred
