Vice President of Business Development (Fintech)

We're looking for an experienced Vice President of Business Development to drive capital formation, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth within the investment, fintech, and digital‑asset ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network of institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs - and who loves building and scaling high‑performing teams.

The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for:

  • Build and expand a best‑in‑class investment and digital‑asset platform through institutional sales and strategic partnerships

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting institutional investors, hedge funds, family offices, and HNWIs

  • Lead capital‑raising and capital‑introduction efforts using your existing network while actively developing new relationships

  • Conduct investor meetings, presentations, and pitches that highlight the firm's investment capabilities

  • Partner with internal teams to create marketing materials, investor decks, and thought‑leadership content

  • Negotiate investment agreements aligned with investor needs and regulatory requirements

  • Manage CRM reporting, pipeline tracking, and weekly activity updates

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing business development team

  • Define team KPIs and manage performance to drive revenue growth

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and operations

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments

  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements

  • Work with marketing/PR to elevate brand presence and industry visibility

The Vice President of Business Development should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

  • 7+ years in business development, capital introduction, fundraising, or investor relations (investment management, fintech, hedge funds, or alternatives)

  • Strong existing network of institutional allocators and HNWIs

  • Proven leadership experience managing high‑performance teams

  • Strong understanding of digital‑asset markets and the global crypto ecosystem

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Willingness to obtain relevant regulatory licenses (e.g., Series 3) within required timelines

  • Familiarity with U.S. and global regulatory frameworks (CFTC, NFA, SEC) is a plus
