About the Opportunity:

Our client is an operating company focused on sustainability across power, mobility, water & waste. They are looking for a Vice President to help run execution of their deals. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving the execution of complex transactions across acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in deal execution, exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of investment processes within a corporate or private equity-backed environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead End-to-End Execution: Manage all phases of transaction execution, including diligence, modeling, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal teams-legal, finance, tax, operations-and external advisors to ensure seamless execution and risk mitigation.
  • Process Optimization: Establish and refine execution frameworks, timelines, and reporting tools to drive efficiency and transparency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key liaison with investment banks, legal counsel, consultants, and counterparties.
  • Portfolio Support: Support post-close integration and strategic initiatives across the portfolio, including bolt-on acquisitions and capital structuring.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and deal activity to inform execution strategy and best practices.

Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similar transaction-focused role.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex transactions from diligence through close.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
