Valuations Convertible Bonds Lead
The Valuations Convertible Bonds Pricing Lead responsible for implementing the fund's valuation methodology and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily marks. Additionally, this candidate will oversee the global pricing and valuation process for all convertible bond positions within a global hedge fund. This role is part of the Equity and Valuations Group, which manages valuations across all equity products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily pricing and valuations for:
- Convertible & exchangeable bonds
- ASCOTs
- Warrants
- Design and implement controls for accurate mark-to-market pricing and PnL.
- Contribute to the development of robust technology infrastructure for CB pricing and valuation.
- Lead the creation of systems for PnL attribution across CB portfolios.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CB Portfolio Managers globally on pricing and marking queries.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance pricing and valuation processes and support fund performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in trading or pricing/structuring derivative products (preferably across asset classes).
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Derivative products
- Pricing models
- Risk management
- Expertise in convertible bond pricing/trading and market dynamics is highly beneficial.
