Job Title: Trade Support Specialist

Location: Greenwich, CT (on-site)

Salary: $90k - $115k + bonus

Summary:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Operations team at a leading high-frequency proprietary trading firm, where you'll support multiple trading desks and help streamline operational workflows. Working closely with traders, researchers, and software engineers, you'll identify and implement the most effective tools and technologies to enhance desk performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-frequency trading environments and a demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges and deliver practical, scalable solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Provide front-office support for the firm's direct trading activities.
  • Own and enhance processes, workflows, and technologies to meet evolving desk needs.
  • Support and upgrade trader-specific risk management tools aligned with firm standards.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to improve and customize trading tools.
  • Promote adoption of new technologies across trading desks.
  • Master proprietary systems for trade capture, inventory, treasury, and risk management.
  • Reconcile trades and positions with clearing houses, brokers, and counterparties.
  • Calculate and substantiate daily profit and loss figures.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in middle office or risk revolving roles
  • Preferred experience with futures, futures options, and/or OTC derivatives.
  • Background supporting products in fixed income, currencies, crypto assets, or commodities.
  • Proficient in Python; working knowledge of Git, SQL, and Linux.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical exposure.
