A well‑established, globally recognized financial services organization is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join its corporate expense and compensation analytics team. In this role, you will support enterprise‑wide expense management, partnering closely with regional finance groups, controllership, and functional leaders. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment, enjoys translating data into insights for senior leadership, and is driven to improve processes and financial clarity across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles related to headcount, compensation, and employee‑related expenses
- Prepare reporting packages and insights for stakeholders, ensuring key cost drivers are clearly explained
- Work with business and finance partners to develop narratives, Q&A materials, and commentary for leadership reviews
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits costs; identify variances and opportunities for efficiency
- Support budget and forecast cycles, challenging assumptions and validating business inputs
- Create and enhance data models and scenario analyses used to inform strategic planning
- Maintain internal calendars, timelines, and deliverables across the FP&A organization
- Assist with linking functional costs to broader corporate results and allocation processes
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, expense management, or compensation/benefits analytics
- Experience in financial services or insurance strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas); PowerPoint expertise including visualization add‑ins
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
- Comfort working with large datasets and operating under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive, self‑starting mindset
- Ability to collaborate across global teams and navigate matrixed environments
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field (advanced degree a plus)
