Overview

This role focuses on driving client engagement and expanding business coverage within financial institutions. You will be responsible for managing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring strong adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

This is a Dubai-based opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions, while actively developing new client connections
  • Act as the primary point of oversight for client due diligence, ensuring KYC/AML standards and risk monitoring are consistently upheld
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding, from initial engagement through to account activation and operational readiness
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within internal systems and ensure data is regularly updated
  • Support revenue generation through cross-selling, client development, and meeting assigned business targets
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to execute market strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Track client performance, profitability, and activity trends to identify risks or areas for expansion
  • Ensure periodic reviews and compliance checks are completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., compliance, credit, and operations) to facilitate smooth client lifecycle management
  • Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to support business development efforts
  • Provide ongoing support to clients across product subscriptions, documentation, and operational queries
  • Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activity, and product updates to enhance client engagement
  • Address and resolve escalated issues, ensuring a high level of service delivery

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience within banking or financial markets, ideally in securities services, custody, or capital markets environments
  • Solid understanding of client due diligence processes and regulatory frameworks (KYC, AML/CFT)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across regions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines
  • Comfortable working in an international, multicultural setting
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages such as Arabic or French are advantageous
  • Willing to relocate to Dubai
