VP - Institutional Flow Rates Sales
Location: London
The client is seeking to appoint a Vice President within its Rates Sales team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing institutional client relationships, with a core focus on Cash Bonds products across government and related fixed income markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, and pension funds.
- Deliver high-quality sales coverage across Cash Bonds products, including government bonds, SSA, and other core rates instruments.
- Act as a trusted market advisor to clients, providing trade ideas, relative value analysis, and market colour.
- Work closely with trading, research, and structuring teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure efficient execution.
- Drive revenue growth through active client engagement, idea generation, and disciplined risk awareness.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Rates platform in London and broader EMEA.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in Rates Sales at VP level within an investment bank or relevant financial institution.
- Established institutional client relationships with demonstrable revenue generation.
- Strong technical understanding of Cash Bonds products and rates market dynamics.
- Excellent commercial judgement, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven trading floor environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
