Product Security Engineer
A leading, high-growth technology firm is looking to hire a Senior Product Security Engineer to join its expanding Product Security function. This role will report into the Director of Product Security and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to design and deliver secure software solutions.
The position is focused on securing modern, cloud-native applications and microservices architectures, within highly complex environments including advanced trading systems and blockchain platforms.

Core responsibilities
- Conduct secure design and code reviews across cloud-native applications
- Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and security testing strategies
- Partner with engineering teams to triage vulnerabilities and guide remediation
- Advise on cloud application and infrastructure security best practices
- Enhance authentication, authorisation, and data protection layers
- Support and improve application security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Act as a security SME, embedding best practices across the organisation
- ~5+ years in product security, application security, or cloud security
- Experience securing microservices and cloud-based environments
- Strong grounding in secure SDLC (design reviews, testing, vulnerability management)
- Deep knowledge across areas such as:
- Authentication & authorisation
- Cloud security
- Network/system security
- TLS / PKI
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner closely with engineering teams

- Relevant security or cloud certifications
