Overview
A global advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and valuation services is seeking a Valuations Associate to join its growing Valuations & Opinions practice. The firm serves private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and public and private businesses worldwide and operates in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment with a hybrid work model.
Role Summary
Associates work closely with senior leadership and clients, contributing to the full valuation lifecycle; from initial analysis through final deliverables. This role offers hands-on responsibility, client exposure, and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in portfolio and transaction-related valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and review financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, market comps, etc.)
- Prepare valuation reports and client presentations
- Coordinate and manage recurring valuation engagements
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Interact directly with clients and prepare deliverables
- Track capital markets trends and maintain valuation data
- Assist with business development and marketing materials
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in valuation or related advisory roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in energy or infrastructure valuations preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA and/or CFA progress preferred but not required
