OneStream System Administrator Position Overview

We are seeking a OneStream Administrator to join the corporate finance team. This position reports directly to senior finance leadership and plays a key role in maintaining and optimizing the company's OneStream platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, supporting financial close and consolidation processes, implementing enhancements, and acting as the subject matter expert for all OneStream-related initiatives.

OneStream System Administartor Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administration of the OneStream platform, including user provisioning, security setup, and system configuration
  • Support financial close cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) by ensuring accurate data loads, consolidations, and reporting outputs
  • Manage integrations between OneStream and upstream systems (e.g., trial balance data, operational metrics, and other financial data sources)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution to maintain business continuity
  • Design and maintain dashboards, cube views, workflows, and business rules to meet reporting and operational needs
  • Partner closely with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing cycles, and deployment of enhancements
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks to ensure reliable reporting
  • Maintain clear documentation for system processes, configurations, and user procedures
  • Support ongoing maintenance of account reconciliation functionality within the platform
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and system efficiency
  • Contribute to strengthening internal controls related to financial reporting
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and workflows
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end users on system capabilities and best practices

OneStream System Administrator Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience working with OneStream or similar enterprise performance management platforms (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC)
  • Solid understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes
  • Hands-on experience building cube views, workflows, dashboards, and business rules
  • Familiarity with data integration processes and ETL concepts
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
