Junior Institutional Sales - Fixed Income (German-Speaking Clients)

Overview
We are looking for a Junior Institutional Sales professional to join our Paris-based team, covering German-speaking institutional clients with a focus on Fixed Income - Rates products.
This position offers an excellent entry point into institutional markets within a growing international banking platform, currently undergoing a phase of expansion and transformation. It provides strong exposure, hands-on learning, and significant long-term career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Coverage
Support senior sales in managing relationships with German institutional clients (asset managers, insurers, pension funds, banks).
Assist in preparing client materials, trade ideas, and market updates.
Participate in client meetings, calls, and roadshows.
Market & Product Support
Develop knowledge of Fixed Income Rates products (government bonds, swaps, interest rate derivatives).
Monitor market developments and contribute to daily market commentary and updates.
Assist in trade execution processes and follow-up with clients.
Business Development
Help identify new client opportunities and support business origination efforts.
Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and pipeline.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with trading, research, and structuring teams to deliver solutions.
Contribute to internal projects linked to the growth and development of the platform.
Profile & Experience
Experience
1-4 years of experience in markets, sales, trading, or internships in fixed income.
Exposure to institutional clients or financial markets is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong interest in financial markets, especially interest rate products.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Languages
Fluent German (mandatory)
Fluent English (mandatory)
French is a plus
