Investment Banking Analyst II - Digital Infrastructure
Overview
We are partnering with a leading elite boutique investment bank to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Digital Infrastructure team within the broader Technology practice in New York.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded advisory platform that operates at the forefront of digital infrastructure, including sectors such as data centers, fiber, towers, and cloud-related assets. The team is known for its deep sector expertise, strong deal flow, and involvement in high-profile M&A and strategic transactions.
The successful candidate will join a lean, high-performing team and gain meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and hands-on deal execution experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions within the digital infrastructure and broader technology sectors
- Build and maintain advanced financial models, including DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions, and merger analysis
- Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and marketing documents
- Conduct detailed industry, company, and market research with a focus on digital infrastructure trends
- Participate in due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record (Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of investment banking experience
- Demonstrated experience working on M&A transactions
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset
- Interest in digital infrastructure and technology sectors
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professional maturity, work ethic, and team orientation
