Associate, FX Corporate Sales
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join a high-performing Corporate Sales team, advising mid-cap and large corporate clients on foreign exchange risk management solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior sales professionals, structuring, trading, and relationship management teams to deliver bespoke hedging strategies and deepen existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with German-speaking corporate clients, primarily CFOs, Treasurers, and Treasury teams.
- Advise clients on FX risk management strategies across spot, forwards, swaps, and options products.
- Identify new business opportunities and originate FX hedging mandates across a diverse corporate client base.
- Partner with Corporate Banking and Coverage teams to deliver comprehensive risk management solutions.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, market updates, and trade recommendations.
- Monitor FX markets and macroeconomic developments to proactively identify opportunities for clients.
- Support senior team members in strategic account planning and revenue generation initiatives.
- Work closely with Trading and Structuring teams to deliver tailored derivative solutions where appropriate.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience within FX Sales, Corporate Sales, Treasury Sales, Risk Solutions, or a related Markets business.
- Strong knowledge of FX products including spot, forwards, swaps, and ideally FX options.
- Experience covering German-speaking corporate clients or strong exposure to the DACH market.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior client relationships.
- Strong understanding of corporate treasury management and foreign exchange risk.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
