Fund Accounting Associate Director - Hedge Fund
Our client is a buyside firm, they are looking to grow their team and add a Fund Accounting Associate Director.
- Review NAV calculations, fund accounting deliverables, and periodic financial reports prepared by external administrators.
- Validate valuations, reconciliations, accruals, investor allocations, and management and performance fee calculations.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and resolve issues with administrators and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee investor capital activity from an accounting and control perspective.
- Coordinate annual audits and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Manage relationships with administrators, auditors, tax advisers, custodians, and other service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies, fund documentation, and internal controls.
- Partner with internal teams on fund-related matters, new launches, and process improvements.
