Fixed Income Quant Analyst

I'm working with a top asset manager in Boston, MA who is looking for a Fixed Income Quant Analyst to join and help support their Portfolio Analytics team. They are looking for someone who has a blend of quantitative skills and investment knowledge, who can play a key part in both aspects. This role will involve building and enhancing analytical libraries, integrating new data sources, and collaborating closely with portfolio managers and trading teams to improve investment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data to help guide portfolio decisions for the Credit team
  • Leverage Python and SQL to utilize data for any of the teams' needs
  • Ad-hoc analyses to support investment strategies
  • Collaborate/communicate with cross-functional teams and other non-technical stakeholders
  • Work on analytics-based projects from day one

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience (internship or full-time)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Knowledge within the fixed income space
  • Experience within the investments industry is preferred
