Entrepreneur in residence
Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) - Digital Wealth Platform Build at a DIFC-Regulated Asset Management Firm - Advertisement Draft
About Us
A leading international asset management firm with a strong presence in Dubai (DIFC-licensed) and Switzerland, and an expanding global footprint - distinguished by an institutional-calibre investment franchise across global equities, fixed income, ETFs and alternative investments. We are the trusted advisor of choice to UHNW individuals, prominent family offices and select institutions across the GCC, Europe and beyond. Built on a disciplined investment process, deep advisory rigour and consistent performance through cycles, the firm has earned its reputation as one of the most respected independent wealth and asset management houses operating across these key international financial centres - with continued expansion into new markets underway.
Building on that foundation, we are now creating a fully digital, client-facing wealth and investment platform that will complement and extend our institutional capabilities into the HNW and emerging-affluent segments globally. The platform will deliver three pillars: a branded digital execution venue, a scalable discretionary portfolio management engine, and digital access to institutional-grade private markets historically reserved for high-minimum clients. To lead the build, we are hiring an Entrepreneur in Residence with founder-level commercial DNA, AI-native instincts and end-to-end product-ownership capability - joining a global team that spans some of the world's premier wealth management hubs.
About the Role
The EIR is the venture owner - across strategy, product, technology, regulatory readiness and commercial outcomes - from concept through launch and scale. You will own revenue, growth and P&L for the digital business. You will work directly with the firm's founders and senior team, partner with global infrastructure providers (multi-asset execution, custody, open APIs), and coordinate with leading wealth-tech vendors to design client journeys, onboarding experiences and advisory tools.
Two things sit at the core of how this venture will be built. First, regulatory readiness - all workflows, onboarding flows and advisory journeys must be fully aligned with DFSA rules and the broader DIFC framework. Second, the deliberate use of AI as a foundational capability, not a feature - across product, operations, compliance, marketing and decision-support. The successful candidate will treat frontier generative-AI platforms (including Claude) as embedded leverage in how the business is built and operated, and will design a business model that is structurally AI-advantaged on cost, speed and client experience.
This is founder-level ownership of a digital venture inside the support, stability and reputation of a regulated DIFC asset manager.
What You Will Drive
- Architect and validate the three digital verticals - self-execution, discretionary portfolios, private-markets access - and own the integrated platform vision end to end.
- Lead vendor and partner evaluation across global brokers, custodians and wealth-tech platforms, with focus on API readiness, cost efficiency, service levels and commercial alignment.
- Own the business case, revenue model, unit economics and P&L projections; define monetisation pathways, cost structures and commercial viability.
- Embed AI across the build - using Claude and other frontier AI tools to compress build cycles, lower run-rate cost, accelerate compliance, and create genuinely AI-native client experiences. Design the business model itself to take structural advantage of AI economics rather than treating AI as a marketing layer.
- Define client journeys, user flows, product features, compliance touchpoints and operational processes.
- Shape the go-to-market - acquisition channels, pricing, segmentation, KPIs and performance discipline.
- Build and lead the venture team as the business scales.
What You Bring
- Founder-level track record. You have personally founded, co-founded or led - as CEO / COO / Head of Product or equivalent - a digital wealth, fintech or adjacent venture, taking it from zero to commercial launch and ideally to material scale, with measurable business outcomes you can speak to. Venture-backed or self-funded; either is welcome.
- 10+ years of operating experience in fintech, digital wealth, venture building, product management or a similar high-growth environment.
- AI-native operator. Demonstrably fluent with current generative AI - frontier LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini and equivalents), agentic workflows, MCP / connector ecosystems - and a track record of using AI to materially change how a business is built or run. Able to articulate concretely where AI changes the unit economics of a digital wealth platform, not just where it improves the marketing copy.
- Strong understanding of API-based brokerage platforms, multi-custodian wealth-management workflows and digital investment journeys.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver a business plan with revenue strategies and financial projections, and to translate that plan into measurable performance.
- Confident partner management across technology, regulatory and commercial domains.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - ownership, resilience, bias to results, comfort with ambiguity.
Why This Role Matters
You will build the commercial engine of a new digital business inside an established regulated asset manager - real P&L ownership, founder-level autonomy, an institutional platform behind you, and a meaningful share of the value created. Your work will shape how clients experience digital wealth across the GCC and will form a new strategic pillar of the firm for years to come.

This role is open to applicants worldwide. A competitive package - fixed compensation plus variable pay / long-term incentives - will be aligned with the seniority and impact of the position.
