China Institutional Derivatives Sales
The role covers the China market from a Singapore base, with significant leverage across Hong Kong and Taiwan client flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the institutional derivatives client base across Greater China.
- Drive sales of exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives to targeted institutional clients.
- Build new institutional business by onboarding new clients and generating commission revenue.
- Manage and deepen relationships within existing client portfolios, increasing share of wallet.
- Partner with internal channels and functional teams to identify opportunities and onboard clients.
Requirements
- Degree holder in a related discipline.
- 5-10 years' experience in institutional derivatives sales, sales trading, or dealing with institutional clients.
- Experience across major global exchanges (e.g. SGX, HKEX, CME, ICE, LME).
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, with strong familiarity with the China market.
- Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, with a genuine hunger to build business.
- Eligible and willing to obtain MAS licensing (English-language exams) during a 6-month probation.
- Committed to a long-term relocation to Singapore.
