Bulge Bracket Investment Banking Associate | Tech FSG
Selby Jennings is partnered with a Bulge Bracket looking to expand its presence in Technology/Financial Sponsors. This team is expanding, and interested in speaking with bankers in or interested in relocating to the San Francisco Bay area.
Ideal candidates are current TMT Investment Banking Associate (1 or 2s), with experience in M&A and/or Leveraged Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring for M&A and capital markets deals.
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and offering memoranda.
- Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and oversee Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, with a focus on TMT preferred.
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, comps), and transaction analysis.
- Deep understanding of TMT trends, business models, and key players.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
