Wij zijn op zoek naar een AWS Cloud Engineer met minimaal 4 jaar ervaring en sterke expertise binnen Amazon Web Services, bij voorkeur opgedaan binnen banken of andere financiële instellingen.
In deze rol werk je mee aan cloudmigratie en moderniseringstrajecten waarbij bedrijfskritische applicaties en infrastructuur naar AWS worden verplaatst. Samen met engineering, security en architectuurteams ontwerp en implementeer je veilige en schaalbare cloudoplossingen, terwijl je bijdraagt aan automatisering, operationele verbeteringen en cloud best practices binnen de organisatie.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with 4+ years of experience with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services within banking or other financial services companies.
In this role, you will support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, helping move business-critical applications and infrastructure to AWS. Working closely with engineering, security, and architecture teams, you'll design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions while contributing to automation, operational improvements, and cloud best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Drive cloud transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Work closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and project delivery.
- Improve cloud governance, automation, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience within banking, fintech, insurance, or other regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience.
- Proven experience delivering:
- Cloud migrations
- Transformation programs
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar IaC tools.
- Knowledge of AWS networking, security, identity management, and monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Ownership mentality and ability to work independently.
