Investment Principal - Multi-Asset Research

A Boston-based investment firm is seeking an Investment Principal to lead the research and management of customized, multi-asset class portfolios for high-net-worth clients. This role combines strategic investment oversight with client relationship management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Portfolio Management

• Act as the CIO for key clients, overseeing the full investment process.
• Design and manage bespoke portfolios using firm-wide research and asset class insights, tailored to client-specific constraints (e.g., risk, liquidity, spending).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling regular reviews and ad-hoc investment-related inquiries.
• Lead preparation and delivery of client meeting materials, covering performance, strategy, and market commentary.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in investment management, consulting, banking, or a related field.
• Strong academic background; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
