Data Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Data Engineer to design and maintain data platforms that power trading and research. You'll work on data pipelines, APIs, storage systems, and quality monitoring to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain market data systems, APIs, and ETL pipelines.
• Manage data assets including databases, cloud storage, and metadata.
• Integrate data vendors and automate ingestion, migration, and workflows.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for data quality and reliability.
• Optimize platform performance and support analytics and research tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and solid SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and database principles.
• Good understanding of algorithms, debugging, and system design.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow, cloud storage, big data platforms, or data warehouses.
• Knowledge of time-series databases (InfluxDB, TDengine) and distributed systems.
• Additional back-end languages (C++/Go/Java) are a plus.
• Background in finance or quantitative workflows is an advantage.
