A top American Investment bank is looking to add a VP to the Internal Audit Quality Assurance function, covering the Global Wealth Management Compliance Team. This individual will act as a subject matter expert, providing day-to-day support and guidance to Audit teams on methodology-related matters and leading continuous reviews of Internal Audit's work. Overall, this individual will contribute to continuous improvement of Internal Audit practices and coverage.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders. Related certifications (CPA, CAMS, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA) are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in assurance practices for the Internal Audit function, by leading continuous reviews
- Work side by side with Internal Audit teams to provide support and Guidance on methodology
- Build strong relationships with Audit leadership and key stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodology, Practices and Coverage
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Audit Quality Assurance and Private Wealth Audit Compliance
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with Audit leadership across the business
- Certification (CPA, CAMS, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA) is a plus
