My client, a leading Middle Market Investment Bank, is actively seeking Vice President level investment banking professionals to join their Consumer & Retail team of banking professionals in their Richmond, VA Office.
If you are an investment banking professional at the VP level with a background in the Consumer, Retail, or any related spaces (TMT, Industrials, etc.) this could be a great opportunity for you! My client will consider applicants with investment banking experience with a background in other related sectors as long as the have extensive M&A transaction experience and an interest in the Consumer space.
The role will involve the following:
- Preparing and delivering presentations
- Performing extensive valuation and pricing analyses
- Investment banking coverage of corporate and private equity clients, including pitching and structuring
- Playing key leadership roles in all aspects of the transaction process
- Taking primary responsibility for deal execution of consumer transactions
- Mentoring and training analyst and associate level bankers
- Maintaining client relations during the deal execution period and building M&A, Debt, & Equity expertise
- Initiating new client relationships and expanding a business franchise within the consumer & retail sector
Requirements:
- Must have a good number of years of investment banking/m&a experience
- Consumer sector experience is ideal
- Middle Market transaction experience is preferred
- Sell-side M&A transaction experience
- Excellent analytic and modeling skills
- Strong client management skills
- Team player and ability to work independently as well
- Strong technical and communication skills
