Jr Tech Ops Engineer - Prop Trading Firm - Chicago (On-Site)
A mid-sized, globally positioned proprietary trading firm is seeking a Junior Engineer to join their Chicago Technology Operations Team. You will be troubleshooting for multiple trading strategies and working within a dynamic trading environment with abundant opportunities for autonomy and ownership.
Scope of Work:
- Monitor trading systems and work to identify and resolve complex issues
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot to keep trading applications online
- Work alongside Risk and Trading desks to understand and facilitate trading requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-3 years of experience supporting trading systems and/or trading applications
- Linux troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
