System/Network Engineer | Leading Renewable Energy Producer | Greater Boston Area
One of New England's leading Renewable Energy Producers has an opportunity for a strong System/Network Engineer to join their lean team, and support critical pieces of their infrastructure. This firm is known for their extremely strong and tight-knit culture; their teams have excellent longevity, and many individuals have spent the majority of their careers growing with this firm.
In this new System/Network Engineer role, you will impact their network and security systems, as well as the underlying components of their infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work with a wide array of technologies and make a significant impact on the overall infrastructure. You will be asked to take end-to-end ownership of designing, implementing, and supporting these solutions.
Your opportunity:
- Take end-to-end ownership of the network and security infrastructure
- Monitor network activity and optimize performance
- Troubleshoot network and security issues
- Design and implement automation solutions
- Collaborate with key business users to recommend, research, and implement new technologies
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as Network Admin/Engineer implementing LAN/WAN solutions
- Hands-on experience with Telephony, Wifi, Switches and Load Balancing
- Hands-on experience with a major firewall technology like CheckPoint, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc
- Hands-on experience with a major network/security monitoring tool
- Hands-on scripting experience
- Hands-on experience with SCCM
- Knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Office365
