Selby Jennings is working with an extremely lucrative asset global management firm with locations in New York City and Austin. The high-performing team is looking to add a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their fast-growing technology team. As a member of their talented software team, you will work closely with other software engineers and researchers to effectively automate and streamline the company's operations while simultaneously troubleshooting any issues and enhancing their continuous integration.
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the development of their platform using Kubernetes, Kafka, and/or Spark.
- Troubleshooting issues with source code management and deployment
- Monitoring the team's production data pipeline.
- Designing test automation and implementing continuous integration tools.
The Site Reliability Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- At least 3 + years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering roles or similar.
- Well-versed understanding of the CI/CD concept
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Proficiency in programming and coding languages such as Python (preferred), Golang, or C++
- Prior experience using the Linux administration.
